Footprint Architects is a RIBA chartered practice with an extensive portfolio of projects across residential, commercial and educational sectors. They needed a high-end website to showcase their portfolio while incorporating their designs in many different formats. The website needed to appeal to clients from all sectors by improving SEO from their previous website and running a Google Adwords Campaigns.
To showcase designs from residential & commercial sectors, we used a grid layout where different sized images, videos and 3D Models could be added. The homepage has a wide range of responsive content giving visitors intuitive options to browse different projects and experience Footprint Architects designs.
The variety of Footprint Architects designs were the focus of the website. Therefore incorporating an elegant and minimalistic design both on the homepage and within single portfolio pages was important to direct the user’s focus. From running a Google Adword Campaign, 70% of users visited on mobile. So we incorporated a design that would work across all platforms.
Visitors can interact with a 3D model directly from Footprint Architects site and are able to orbit round in mobile and desktop. This was necessary to display designs in different formats for users to experience.
From Footprint Architects previous website we have combined pages to make information more easily accessible for users. One page navigation helps to make information displayed simply and is a great responsive design feature.
